The filament profile controls starting values such as nozzle temperature, cooling, flow, and filament limits. Confirm the correct filament type and toolhead assignment.
The process profile contains choices such as layer height, walls, infill, supports, speed, and build-plate helpers. Begin with a suitable preset and change only what the model requires.
Balances visible detail, print time, and how smoothly curves and slopes are reproduced.
Affect surface closure, strength, weight, and print time.
Supports internal areas and top surfaces while affecting filament use, weight, and strength.
Determine which surfaces face the plate, which areas need temporary support, and where marks may remain.
Check the selected build plate and whether the model needs a brim, skirt, or other adhesion help.
Faster is not always better. Small details, overhangs, filament flow, and the model’s shape may require slower printing.
Start with the filament profile. Adjust only when the filament, printed result, or a controlled test provides a reason.
Confirm toolhead assignments, color placement, purge volume, and the wipe tower before sending the job.
Modes such as Spiral Vase change the normal wall, infill, top-layer, and movement behavior. Use them only with a suitable model and inspect Preview carefully.
